Fried Rice

2c day-old cooked rice

Fresh ginger

Green onion

Garlic, fresh

2T Sesame oil

2T Rice vinegar

3T Soy sauce

OPTIONAL: Protein and vegetables

Get a big skillet over medium/high heat, add ~1T sesame oil. Mince ginger, garlic, and white part of green onion only and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Throw in cold rice. Heat until rice starts to brown. Push all of the mix to one side of pan, in the other side crack egg and scramble to cook. Once egg has scrambled, combine with rice mixture (+ mix ins) and turn down heat. I like to add 1c of thawed frozen peas & sliced carrot. Pour 1T sesame oil, 2T rice wine vinegar, 3T soy sauce over mix and stir to combine.
