Fly Bungee™ Teacher Training

Fly Bungee™ is a proprietary one-of-a-kind workout using bungee cords developed by The Aviary in consultation with circus arts, dance and fitness experts. It delivers a high-intensity cardiovascular workout that uses the resistance of bungee cords to perform fun aerial maneuvers with extra lift and bounce. A bungee hop, skip, and stretch becomes a full body workout.
Teacher training for Fly Bungee™ is $1,000 per person It includes:

5 hours in person skills, equipment and rigging training

One 1 hour consultation about the topics of your choice (e.g. business operations, rigging, equipment sourcing or marketing)

A detailed instruction manual and access to online instructional videos

A listing as an affiliate studio or teacher on our website

Discounts on equipment because we buy in bulk
NO ANNUAL FEE is required for a non-exclusive license. The license requires to use the Fly Bungee™ trademark name to describe your program. If you are interested in having an exclusive territory, you can pay an annual license fee for a 25-mile radius from your studio.
If you already have a location with rigging points we can hang equipment from, we can bring our trainings to your studio. You would pay the cost of the training and all travel related expenses. A great option if you have more than 2 people that want to take the training. We offer discounts if you have more than 2 trainees.
To reserve your spot, email us at info@flyfitfun.com. Upon receipt of our $500 deposit, we will send you the license agreement. The signed agreement and final payment will be due 10 days before training begins. The deposit is 100% refundable until 30 days before training begins and 50% refundable 29 or less days before training begins. After that all payments are non-refundable. Once you have made payment in full, you will receive access to our online equipment store.
The license agreement requires you to use the Fly Bungee™ name to describe the classes/program and prohibits you from teaching Fly Bungee™ within a 25-mile radius of Minneapolis, MN and Mankato, MN. If you are an instructor that wants to teach within either of those areas we will not be able to accept you in our teaching program at this time. Fly Fit® Teacher Training
Fly Fit® is a group fitness program using aerial hammocks that was developed by The Aviary. Our program blends bodyweight and resistance training to improve strength, balance and endurance with aerial moves and poses inspired by circus arts. Our training teaches you how to do the skills properly yourself, teach them safely with proper form, structure a cohesive well-rounded class and safely spot aerial moves. Teacher training is $1,500 per person. It includes:

One hour observation and critique of a mock class taught at our studio or at yours by Skype

A detailed instruction manual with photos and access to online videos

Access to free aerial classes at The Aviary for as long as you teach the Fly Fit® program

Discounts on equipment because we buy in bulk
NO ANNUAL FEE for our non-exclusive license, however you will be contractually required to use the Fly Fit® trademark name. If you are interested in having an exclusive territory to teach Fly Fit® we offer exclusive licenses that have an annual license fee for as long as you want to maintain your exclusivity.

Not all trainings are created equal. Some programs are revenue generators for a studio, they are open to anyone willing to pay. Our programs are designed for people who want to learn to teach group fitness classes with the Fly Fit® or Fly Bungee™ program. Our trainings are comprehensive and personal. The owner of The Aviary has ten years experience as an aerialist, three years of experience owning a fitness studio and seventeen years of legal experience advising small businesses.

Fly Fit® was developed in consultation with experts in the fitness and aerial arts industries. It delivers strength training using an aerial hammock/sling with an emphasis on proper form and alignment and circus based aerial training with an emphasis on safety and fun. We have taught the Fly Fit® program since 2015 and are absolutely confident in its effectiveness and desirability in the market.

Fly Bungee™ is unique in the field of bungee fitness because it was developed in consultation with experts in dance, fitness and circus arts. It delivers high intensity cardio and strength training with an emphasis on form, sequences and fun. Fly Bungee™ has been taught at The Aviary since 2017. We are confident it is a winner given the high demand, repeat customers and full classes we've experienced thus far.

If you want to take both Fly Fit® and Fly Bungee™ training and do them less than a year apart you will receive a $200 discount on the second training program.
What Sets Us Apart
We keep our trainings small so that you receive loads of 1:1 attention, time to practice and a dedicated teacher (or 2) giving regular feedback, advice and support. Every teacher that completes training receives access to free classes at The Aviary for as long as they are teaching our programs. We know our staff is incredible at what they do and we want you to learn from them so you can be too which is why we offer virtual 1:1 lessons by Skype or Hangout. Last but not least, we are one of the only teacher training programs in the fitness industry with absolutely NO ANNUAL LICENSE FEES! The only requirement that comes with our program is that you must use the Fly Fit® or Fly Bungee™ name on your class schedule and in your marketing, but you will never have to pay us a fee for that.
